Apologetic dolphin nuzzles!
I am having more pc problems...can't keep the sucker fixed in fact, and hate using other ones but I guess it's better than nothing. I just can't wait any longer to get back in touch! I miss you all, wonder whAT YOU ARE UP TO?
I guess I left a cliffhanger blog there, and the subject was "what happens when you are not fully in your body" (psych terms "dissociative" when really severe, yet it can manifest as something common as depression. Shaman say "soul loss" in broad terms.)
I guess you can be sort of "on the edge" of lots of disorders without being totally losing control, and this can last some time.
The main point is, when you are not in full control of yourself the vehicle has no driver, or maybe a distracted one, and it leaves a space where anything can happen and probably will.
In most severe cases we find that someone or something else may have taken the driver seat, and usually tries to crowd the original driver out.
I have found this reflected in my dreams. When you keep getting imagery of someone (or something) else driving your vehicle, you really need to notice that whether it is a dream or just a "feeling".Remember we were given feelings for a reason. (Pain for instance is to alert us of damage.)
A feeling of disconnection, of contant floating from one thing to the next, of being distant from yourself, body or maybe the world, of being unrooted and drifting, these feelings should be taken seriously.
Sometimes we cut ourselves off from pain or shock or something uncomfortable, out of fear or dread. This is often done in self defense, and seems to be a universal human instinct. If we feel we can't leave physically, we will take off mentally or spiritually to save ourselves.
More (hopefully) later!
